Reliance Jio has announced special offer for its 4G feature phone JioPhone, where customers can buy this handset for Rs 699 during the festive season between Dussehra to Diwali.
50 Crores Indian mobile users will be benefitted after grabing this offer. As Jio 4G feature phone is available for a special price of only Rs 699 against the old price of Rs. 1500.
So customers can save now Rs. 800 without any special conditions like having to exchange their old phone, Mr Ambani stated.
Jio will provide data benefits valued at Rs 700. For first 7 recharges that the customer does, Jio will additionally add Rs 99 worth of data. There are about 35 crore 2G users in India today and Jio plans to get them onto 4G and eventually push them towards higher tariff order. This telco said that 7 crore 2G users have already migrated to Jio Phone so far.
